As you know, the Vancouver Canucks have just begun the Stanley Cup Playoffs. In an effort to help fans release their passion for their home team, a number of fine establishments throughout the city are offering various game day drink specials. Here’s a few I’ve recently stumbled upon in my travels, and they’re all pretty unique places to watch the boys go for the glory. Please enjoy respectably, and remember-

The Mill Marine Bistro - 1199 West Cordova Street
Huge heated patio with TVs and a view of Stanley Park. Nice, warm pub-style feel inside, and decent TV viewing with 8 well placed screens. Great food, and the beers are an awesome deal!
Admiral Cafe Bistro - 1590 Coal Harbour Quay
Comfortable seating, cafe atmosphere with 3 big TV’s and serving over 85 different brands of beer!
Cardero’s Marina Pub - 1593 Coal Harbour Quay
Nice leather couches, a fire place, and a huge bar. Not a bad place to chill, and let me tell ya, those pints go down smooth…
Caffe Barney - 2528 Main Street
A great spot not too far from Broadway and Main. There’s some decent viewing, but I’d try to get there early to make sure you’ve got a spot, you wouldn’t want to miss an early goal.
Kerkis Greek Taverna - 3605 West 4th Ave
A nice local restaurant, a classy setting, and right on 4th Avenue.
